UOSSM USA Launches Fundraising Campaign

The sheer magnitude of the conflict on Syria’s children is overwhelming. Did you know: Of the 13.5 million Syrians in need of humanitarian aid, 5.8 MILLION are children. More than half of the total population in Syria has been displaced, HALF of these people are children. Over 20,000 children under the age of 16 have been killed. Syrian children need our support! They need access to healthcare, mental health care, and psychosocial support. They need to get vaccinated and they need to be treated for war related injuries and illnesses. You can help! You can make a difference! UOSSM supports Syrian children, and their families, every day with health care, mental health and psychosocial support services, and child protection services inside Syria, in Turkey, and in neighboring countries, including UOSSM USA’s new Jordan office that will help the population of refugees in Southern Syria and Jordan. Please join our fundraising campaign and help us continue to provide these children and their families with the care they need.

UOSSM USA Opens New Jordan Office

With the sharp rise in destruction in Southern Syria, and the major shortage of healthcare services, especially in Daraa and Quneitra, UOSSM understood the importance of bringing medical services to that area, and while UOSSM is providing services in the area, there is a need for more. UOSSM USA started the registration process for a new office in 2016, and finally got the registration completed in early 2017. UOSSM USA's CEO, Kathleen Rowan visited the Jordan office earlier this year. This is an exciting endeavor for UOSSM USA as we elevate the level of healthcare services in the region.
